Standard Construction Process

1. Construction node location:

The parts that need to be waterproofed on the metal roof include: vertical overlap, horizontal overlap, overlapping on both sides of the roof, surrounding the lighting tile, surrounding the fan, surrounding the chimney pipe, outlet holes, all screws on the roof, sinks, and joints of the daughter wall, or the roof is fully covered with waterproofing.

2. Waterproof width:

Determine the parts that need to be waterproofed and the width of the waterproof layer, and cut the reinforced polyester cloth of the corresponding width.

The width of the waterproof layer and the area of ​​the waterproof layer of the screw are generally 0.01 square meters (10cm×10cm);

The width of the horizontal overlap waterproof layer is 20cm; the width of the vertical overlap waterproof layer is 15cm; the width of the connecting layer on both sides of the roof is 20cm, etc. The width of the waterproof layer is preferably determined based on the height of the crest of the on-site roof tile and combined with construction requirements.

3. Preprocessing:

1) Determine the roof that needs waterproof construction. Before waterproof construction, first carefully clean the color steel plate on the roof. It is necessary to ensure that the foundation firmware is not loose, oil, dust, or water, and keep it clean;

2) Patch and repair the perforation and damage of color steel plates, and correct and restore the color steel plates with deformed curls to make the roof flat, without damage or curls;

3) Repair and reinforce the screws that have fallen off the color steel plate to make them tight and not loose.

4. Construction method (three coatings and one cloth):

Determine the area that needs to be waterproofed and clean the base surface so that the waterproof parts need to be kept oil-free, dust-free and rust-free.

One coating: apply a layer of waterproof paint on the cleaned base surface.

1 cloth: When the coating is still wet, lay the polyester cloth directly on the coating and use a brush to flatten it to ensure that the polyester cloth does not bubble or super wrinkle. The overlap width of the polyester cloth is about 5-10 cm.

Second coating: Then apply a metal roof acrylic base waterproof coating on the polyester cloth to completely soak the paint and the polyester cloth until dry.

Three coatings: After the above two coatings and one cloth is dry, apply a layer of waterproof coating on the metal roof, and it can be accepted after drying (the surface can be adjusted in color).
